The Love Zimbabwe Student Event at the Welsh National Assembly last Wednesday proved to
be a great success.
Anthropology Students from UWTSD’s Lampeter campus recently visited Zimbabwe as part of a trip organised by the Love Zimbabwe charity.
This year marked the 11th anniversary of the Wales Fair Trade Fair, organised by David & Martha Holman from Gilwern. The event highlights the importance of buying Fair Trade products from around the world.
Abergavenny food festival was a huge success. Martha and Dave organised a ‘March for Africa’ where children marched around Abergavenny town and sang a variety of songs to raise awareness about food issues in Africa. Martha taught a number of songs (African and English) to a school in Abergavenny.
